Project Description

Collaborated with SNC Lavalin and Keller Foundations to perform installation of power line transmission tower foundations in the towns of Pincher Creek and Innisfail.

Work Scope

  • Qualified to work in brown field conditions, which included live sub stations.
  • Liaised with SNC engineers to trouble shoot geotechnical and design challenges regarding civil requirements on project.
  • Worked with vendors to create formwork systems for 10-12’ diameter piling to accommodate foundation hardware.
  • Performed quality control checks on third party supplied material.
  • Worked with field staff to layout, form, place and finish concrete.
  • Successfully completed piling and ensured there was no damage to local farming community with respect to machinery or contamination.
